The last day of the fair (Labor Day)...Cody and I ended up going to the fair 7 times....YES, 7 times. It helps that we live right down the street and that one of my b-day presents was free parking ANYTIME I went (that was a money saver, I tell ya).....And I did pretty good on Ebay that month so I had some extra $$ to spend on my lovely children. Derek did go with us 1 day (for like 2 1/2 hours)....but he wouldn't let me take any pictures of him....TEENAGERS. UGH! But Cody on the other hand was total picture HOG! He'd pose for pictures 24/7 if he could. We had lots of fun this year at the fair. Cody won lots of prizes on the Jones "I Got It" game (his favorite).....they had good prizes too. I think he choose a basketball once and lots of packs of 5 Hotwheels cars (His new THING).....bringing my kids to the fair is not like bringing any "ordinary" kid to the fair. It's actually much cheaper! LOL. When asked if they wanted cotton candy, both said no. When asked if they wanted fresh lemonade, a unamious "NO". Everything that I asked if they wanted, it was usually no. And here is a good one -- NEITHER of my boys wanted to ride ANY rides! I had bought a ride book of tickets so I practically had to beg Cody to ride some rides...in the end, we ended up givin the tickets to a little girl who was almost at the end of her ticket stash. Boy was she happy! And so was Cody since I stopped begging him to go on some rides!! It seems like both boys were saying "no" to the "kid things in life"..... EXCEPT for games, chocolate milk, and meatstick lollypops! But hey, they're cheap enough!! LOL. We even saw lots of people that we knew! Cody made "friends" with the Webkinz lady. And Cody also fell in love with the tap dancers at the Kids Talent Stage (I had to drag him away from them)....Ugh....my child is only 7!!!! Well that was another fun year at the fair. Bears, games, and FUN!!! Can't wait until next year!!!
