WELCOME TO JENN'S LIFE

I obviously don't visit family and friends as much as I should, so basically this blog, is for them. To show just how much my boys have grown and what we have been up to.

Cody And His Imagination

Take notice of the "marker designs" on my Cody's belly. Cody was playing X-Men and went into his room....he was really quiet for about 20 minutes before I went in and checked on him. Cody decided to use red marker and make "blood" and "wolverine clawmarks" on his belly to show that he was just in an "X-Men fight"....(notice the three clawmarks on the side)....If he was any other child, I would have probably yelled at him BUT because my Cody doesn't usually like anything but his skin on his body, I was kind of happy. He didn't even want to wash it off. This is from a kid who couldn't put on a washable tatoo until about 2 months ago!! Talk about an imagination! Gotta love that little fella!!

The New York State Fair Days 1 - 6

Newsman Cody says the weather is looking nice all week!!

What the hell is this eating my child's head???

I call this the "sweet innocent" pic.

Makenzie, stop looking at Aunt Jenn that way!!

Two smiling cuties!!

Sorry Kenzie, BUT it was Grampy's idea!!

It never fails...no matter how much money you spend on games and rides, my child would rather spend over 1/2 hour shooting garbage into the garbage cans....I'm serious too!! LOL.

Cody showing off some of his hundreds of prizes he won throughout the 7 days we went to the fair.

Kenzie being introduce to a chick for the first time....it was so cute to watch!!

Cody in desperate need of a foot massage....

Is this baby precious or what????

After beggin my child to go on some rides, I finally got him to agree on this fun house (and then he burns his leg on the slide)----FIGURES!!

Cody just loves petting ANY animal that will let him!!

Cody just loves his little Kenzie cousin!!!

Cody's favorite part of the fair--holding the baby chicks!

It's love at first sight.

My cute little red haired blue eye little man!!

AND NOW FOR THE OLDER POSTS OF DAY 1 AND 2 OF THE FAIR.....

So today was day #2 at the fair. Day one, was perfect weather. Nice and warm, but not too warm. The sun was a little too bright for Cody, but I wasn't complaining (mainly since day two was rain, rain, rain).....We stayed at the first day of the fair for a little over 5 hours. That's good for the Codester, since he gets tired so quickly. I remember when we were younger, we'd keep after Mom and Dad to go to the rides every other hour (ok....every other minute), but with my kids it's the opposite. Derek isn't going to the fair until Friday with me, and when he does go, he just likes the food and the $.25 milk....YUMMY! With Cody the past two days, I'd say "Cody, you ready for the rides?" and he'd say "yes" and we'd go to the rides....he'd look....and look some more, but then in the end, we'd both walk away without riding any of them.....why? I'm not sure. He seems like he really wants to ride them, but he just "don't" do it. I am taking him a few more times to the fair...maybe those days will bring change. Cody loves the animals (mainly those baby piggies)....but
with his really short attention span, almost as fast as we enter a building, we are leaving...that is ok to some point for me (since I have a short attention span also).....can't say I get bored!! LOL. When asked what he wanted to eat....and I told him he could have ANYTHING....he said "not hungry" each time as the answer....finally, I told him he had to eat and I got him to agree to the famous yummy meatstick lollypop and some cheese...Of course, everyone loves fried dough for desert, and the nice lady behind the counter gave us 5 pieces instead of 3!!! What a deal! Well, day two was not as great weather. It rained the whole time we were there. But that was ok, since my little guy (who HATES to be wet), decided it was a lot of fun to jump through the several hundreds of puddles (and since he NEVER has done it before, I was actually very proud of him for every jump)!! So needless to say, after 3 hours, we had to head back home since we both were soaking wet from head to toe!!! I must say though that it was some of the funnest 3 hours I've had in a while. I think that we'll take a break from the fair tomorrow, but maybe Sunday or Monday we'll head back.....Talk to you all then.
